Man claims a Vegan diet cured his cancer

Do you believe in the vegan diet?

Rob Mooberry, a 43 year old, ex-cancer patient, informed ‘Daily Mail Online’ about his cancer treatment journey that started in July of 2012. He was already in stage 4 of his colorectal cancer.  Like most other cancer patients, Rob went through chemotherapy and radiation in hopes to reduce the cancer. However, after the first round of this treatment, Mooberry decided not to continue with that treatment anymore.

This was when he decided to go on a full raw-vegan diet. That means eating plant based food without cooking them. A lot of people believe that when you cook foods in certain ways, it changes the molecular structure, which makes a lot of sense. However, I am sure you can imagine how bland eating raw foods all the time can be. Nonetheless, after a couple of months of following a strict vegan diet, Rob when back to the hospital to get another scan. This is where the results would shock everyone. The results showed that hi cancer had shrunk by nearly 80%. Amazing right? Here’s the best part, about a year later, Mooberry’s scan showed that the cancer was no longer in his body.

No, I am not a vegan. Personally, I have tried living on a vegan diet but found myself craving meat a lot, so I had to switch to a pescetarian diet (Fish based diet, along with all your vegetables, eggs, and fruits). This lasted about 7 months until I went back to eating chicken again. However, after doing some research on veganism, I do see the benefits it has on the body. BUT! There have been many conflicting science-based research showing the lack of certain vital nutrients like: omega-3 fatty acids, Calcium, vitamin B-12 and folate. I already know that if you are vegan and you read this, you probably already have something to say about the different ways to get those nutrients, but for now, I am fine with my diet and it suits my lifestyle. I may eventually switch to a vegan diet, but that will be when I have more time to research and speak to more people about it. As for now, I’m going to take that roast chicken out of my oven and devour it!
